Size: 5,000 sq ftThough starkly modern, the design takes cues from Indian sanctuaries: the haveli or mansion organized around private courts, the step-well with an enfilade of semi-enclosed shaded spaces, and the temple sanctum, serene despite the chaos outside, white it reconciles with the existing skyline of bungalow’s in the neighbourhood, and sports an avant-garde appearance. The minimal material palette of this introverted house form is highlighted by an orchestrated play of natural light, imparting a strong sensory perception to the predominately white hued spaces.
